Banana and chocolate peanut butter overnight oats



the best way to finish off a jar of nut butter!

this is my go-to recipe for grab-and-go mornings


Total time to make : 5 minutes Time to prep : 5 minutes

Time to chill : overnight, or minimum 3 hours

Servings : 1



Ingredients


1 nearly empty jar (about 1tbsp left) of peanut butter

1/2 cup (45g) rolled oats

1 scoop ( ~ 25g) chocolate whey protein *optional

1/2 cup (125ml) any milk

1/2 tbsp chia seed

1 tsp vanilla essence/paste

pinch of salt


1/2 sliced banana, 1 tsp nut butter and a sprinkle of cinnamon to top



 

Method


  1. In your nearly empty jar of nut butter, add in oats, milk and whey protein

  2. Screw on the lid and shake to mix

  3. Add in the chia seeds, vanilla and a pinch of salt

  4. Mix and place in the fridge overnight, or minimum 3 hours for the mixture to thicken

  5. Top with sliced banana, extra drizzle of peanut butter and a sprinkle of cinnamon to top
