Air fryer pizza bagels



Ready in less that 10 minutes with just a handful of ingredients, these are quick, easy and cheap -- perfect for busy midweek snacks or light meals. If you're using an oven instead, bake them in a pre-heated fan oven for 12 - 15 minutes at 180ºC.

Ingredients


1 bagel

2 tbsp Pizza sauce/tomato purée

Handful shredded mozzarella

Pepperoni slices

Dried oregano

Basil, to garnish



Method


  1. Slice your bagel in half and spread 1 heaped tbsp of pizza sauce over each half.

  2. Sprinkle a handful of shredded mozzarella over each half and top with pepperoni slices (or whatever you like). Finish with a pinch of dried oregano.

  3. Bake in the air fryer for 6 minutes at 200°C until crisp, golden and bubbling.

  4. Top with fresh basil.

  • To make these vegetarian, skip out the pepperoni.

  • To make this gluten-free, use gluten-free bagels.
