Can't bake, won't bake? Can bake, but can't be arsed, so want the kids to bake without burning down the house? This recipe covers most bases and even better, requires just 4 ingredients, no 'actual' baking - oh and they're ready to trough in under 30 minutes. Shredded wheat gives a good twig effect but in all honesty, I think if you pour chocolate over most cereal, it would taste delicious.
Time to prep : 5 minutes
Time to assemble : 10 minutes
Total time to make : under 30 minutes
Servings : 6 nests
Ingredients
100g chocolate, I used milk
100g peanut butter (or any other nut butter)
1/2 tsp salt
~ 100g shredded wheat (that's 4 of the large ones)
Mini eggs, to fill - I found some boujee rose gold galaxy ones too
Method
Prepare your 'nest' moulds by laying out paper cupcake wrappers, silicone cupcake cases or a cupcake baking tray sprayed lightly with cooking oil (so the chocolate doesn't stick)
In a microwave or in a glass bowl over simmering water, melt together the chocolate and peanut butter and add the salt
In a large mixing bowl, use your hands to crumble up the shredded wheat
Pour the melted mixture over the cereal and mix together using a spatula
Use a tablespoon to spoon some of the mixture in each case and then use your fingers to create a dip in the middle for the eggs
Place 3 x eggs in each nest and leave them to set in the fridge for about 15 minutes

Good to know:
You can use any type of chocolate you have lying around, any type of cereal and any type of nut butter as alternatives
If you don't have or don't like/are allergic to nut butter, you could leave it out and just use double the amount of chocolate to make it 200g or swap it out with 100g of caramel sauce
Keep stored in an airtight container for up to a week
