7th May Book Signing Event at Daylesford Farm

I'm so thrilled to be returning to the award winning Daylesford Farm at their flagship Kingham location for a special Cook for the Soul book signing event. Here you'll find more information on the day and things to explore in and around Daylesford whether it's your first time visiting or you're a regular. Their events page can be found here.

When: Saturday 7th May 1030am - 1230pm.

Where: Daylesford Farm, Kingham GL56 0YG. I'll be based upstairs above their new garden centre in their homeware and kitchen section.

Tickets: No tickets or booking required, this is a free event to attend.

Other: No need to bring anything other than yourself! Books will be available to purchase at the event (if you already have one, you can of course bring that!). Photos, hugs and chats very welcomed. I'll be providing some taste testers from Cook for the Soul and Daylesford will have their award winning wine tastings available outside (weather depending!) or at the fire pit close by.

Below, find some of my favourites things and places to explore at Daylesford and the surrounding areas.

Make the most of your visit to The Cotswolds

Eat

Daylesford Farm has 3 cafes and take out options in their farm shop. If I'm staying to grab a bite, the first thing I do is check out their specials board! For breakfast I love their creamy local scrambled eggs on home baked sourdough and salted butter. Or for lunch, I'm obsessed with their fresh salads. They have an incredible wood-fired oven for pizzas in the courtyard and my favourite is the Nduja.

I could easily spend an hour in The Farm Shop alone. They showcase some great local produce and brands as well as local produce from their farm and the best if what's in season. I love their local berries, home baked bread and fresh pasta. If cheese is your thing, they have an entire cheese-room! If wine is your thing they have my favourite rosé Château Léoube and lots of homemade Daylesford spirits, their award winning Sloe gin being another firm favourite! They also have a deli, larder, butcher, fresh produce and bakery section with lots of cookies, cakes and bakes. I love their earl grey fruit loaf or blueberry and lemon individual cakes from the fresh counter.

Explore

Outside of just meandering around the food and farm shop, Daylesford have a new garden and homeware space stretching over 2 floors. I'm in love with their candles, 'Fig' and 'Vine Tomato' being my favourite (if you know, you know - I used to get my sister to send me them in Sydney for my birthdays and Christmas) and their huge fresh flowers section. Continue through and out the back and you'll see their newly expanded spa area, cottages, cooking school and event space. There's a beautiful and well signposted Farm walk surrounding the farm (more information here)

You'll be in the heart of The Cotswolds and the surrounding areas are littered with beautiful honey-coloured cottages, nature, foodie spots and walks. My favourites are Broadway, Bourton-on-the-Water, Burford, Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold and of course Cheltenham which is where I'm lucky enough to call home - for now!
