How to: Prepare & slice butternut squash

Deliciously sweet with a nutty flavour when roasted, this beautiful and bright orange vegetable is a staple Autumnal ingredient - but it's oddly shaped and seeded - so it can be a bit of a nightmare to prepare. They're available in pre-prepared bags in supermarkets but often cost 3x as much as the same quantity bought whole.
